Therapeutic Approaches I Use

Each session is tailored to your needs and can incorporate several modalities or techniques. Read on to learn more about each one.

  • Deep tissue massage focuses on relieve in chronic tension and pain by working to the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. Slow, intentional pressure helps release adhesions, improve mobility, and reduce long standing discomfort. This modality is ideal for clients with repetitive strain, injuries, or persistent tightness.

  • Relaxing massage using long, flowing strokes, gentle kneading, and rhythmic movements. This is great option for those new to massage or seeking a soothing experience.

  • Myofascial release targets the fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles) to relieve restrictions and restore ease of movement. Using sustained pressure and slow stretching, this technique helps reduce pain, improve posture, and increase flexibility. Gentle but deeply effective.

  • Trigger point therapy focuses on specific areas of muscle tension that refer pain to other areas of the body. By applying focused pressure, the knots (or trigger points) are released, helping decrease pain and improve muscle function. This modality is especially helpful for headaches, neck, and shoulder tension, and repetitive strain patterns.

  • This is a gentle, rhythmic technique designed to support the body’s lymphatic system. It helps reduce swelling, encourages detoxification, and boosts immune function. This is deeply relaxing and often used to reduce inflammation, aid healing after surgery, prevent fibrosis from occurring after surgery, and overall wellness support.

  • Prenatal massage is tailored to support the changing body during pregnancy, helping to relieve back pain, swelling, and tension while promoting relaxation. Postnatal massage supports recovery after birth by easing muscle strain, improving circulation, and restoring balance. Both are performed with specialized positioning for comfort and safety.
